Numbers Don’t Lie: ‘Ctrl’ Lands SZA Number 3 on The Billboard Charts


Sza’s June 9th release of CTRL showed us all that her talent should not go unnoticed. The first week sales are in and the album debuts at number three on the Billboard charts moving nearly 60,000 units. She trails behind Katy Perry and new album Witness while her TDE label mate Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. continues to dominate the top of charts.

Nonetheless, CTRL has been critically acclaimed as one of the best drops so far in 2017 breaking her one of the breakout stars to look out for. If you aren’t hipped to the CTRL project let us bless you with some songs to listen out for on the album.
